Franklinton Gardens is now accepting internship applications for the 2012 growing season. We are looking for hard working and dedicated individuals to join our team. Our program will provide individuals with the opportunity to participate in our day-to-day food production and community building efforts.
Part-time and full-time intern positions are available, with a minimum 3-month commitment required for all participants. Part-time internships will require 20 hours per week. Full-time internships will require 40 hours per week, though demands of food production at certain points in the season may require more than that.
This is an unpaid internship program, but all full-time interns are eligible for free on-site housing and a weekly allowance of fruits, vegetables, and eggs from our harvest. Part-time interns will be allowed a partial food stipend from our harvest as well.
